Dallas Stars sign Dylan Hryckowian to two-year entry-level deal for 2026-27

The Dallas Stars have signed forward Dylan Hryckowian to a two-year, entry-level contract starting in the 2026-27 season. The 21-year-old joins the organisation after a standout junior year at Northeastern University. He will now report to the Texas Stars, Dallas' AHL affiliate, for the rest of the year.

Hryckowian leaves Northeastern after leading the team in points, goals, and shots taken this season. In 30 games, he recorded 37 points, earning a spot on the Hockey East First All-Star Team. Over his three-year NCAA career, he played 100 games, scoring 39 goals and 68 assists for a total of 107 points.

Before college, he played for the Cedar Rapids Roughriders in the USHL, where he tallied 65 points in 61 games. His performance at Northeastern also earned him places on the Hockey East All-Academic Teams for both the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons. The signing reunites Hryckowian with his older brother, Justin, who already plays as a forward for the Stars. Dallas secured his rights by inking him to a deal that begins next season, with immediate development planned in the AHL.

Hryckowian's contract starts in 2026-27, but he will spend the remainder of this year with the Texas Stars. His scoring ability and academic recognition highlight his potential as a future contributor for Dallas. The move adds depth to the organisation's forward prospects.
