The sound system at Shyboy Hi-Fi will be powered by custom-built speakers by Devon Turnbull of OJAS, ensuring the sound at the venue will be crystal-clear. The space will also feature James Turrell-esque light installations and a Lachlan Turczan piece that transforms sound waves into movement, enhancing the overall sensory experience.
Shyboy Hi-Fi's pricing structure, referred to as "democratic," starts drinks at $13, with cover fees considered rare for such a niche cultural venue. The company-owned Drakestone Apartments, previously the Republic National Bank building, became available for a similar concept, making Shyboy Hi-Fi a perfect addition to the Dallas nightlife scene.
