Actor Sunny Deol recently had a memorable encounter with His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, during his journey through the serene landscapes of Ladakh. Deol described the meeting as "a moment of deep honour and gratitude."
In a photo shared by Deol on Instagram, he is seen bowing near the Dalai Lama, who gently held his hands and touched them to his forehead as a blessing. Deol wore a black jacket and denim, and was greeted with a yellow shawl during the meeting.
The meeting had a calm demeanor and elevated the gracefulness of the encounter. Deol referred to the meeting as "truly unforgettable," and said that the Dalai Lama's presence, wisdom, and blessings filled his heart with peace.
Deol is currently on a trip through the majestic Himalayas with his son Rajveer, enjoying the serene visuals of blue skies, grand mountains, and green grasses.
Apart from this spiritual sojourn, Deol is also busy with his upcoming projects. He recently wrapped up the shoot for the movie Border 2, a sequel to the 1997 movie Border, directed by Anurag Singh. The film stars Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, and is expected to hit the theatres in January 2026.
Deol also has Lahore 1947 with Preity Zinta in the pipeline. The film will be under the Aamir Khan Productions banner led by Rajkumar Santoshi.
