Dakota Johnson made a stylish entrance at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie, Splitsville. The actress donned a strapless silver leather gown by Gucci, featuring a sculpture-like draped corset and a high slit in the back.
At the after-party, held at Delilah in West Hollywood, Johnson changed into a long-sleeve micro-minidress by the same fashion house. The dress, in a dark shade of hunter green, was a stark contrast to her silver gown. Unlike the maxi length runway version from the F/W 25 collection, Johnson's after-party dress had an completely open back.
While the runway version of the dress was styled with fur-trim slippers, Johnson opted for patent leather pumps from the F/W 25 collection for her after-party shoes. The minimal jewelry and accessories paired with the dress also marked a departure from the more accessorised look seen on the runway.
Johnson's stylist for the event was Kate Young. The dress worn at the after-party actually belongs to the Schiaparelli Spring 2020 Couture collection, not the F/W 25 collection as initially thought.
After the premiere, Johnson and the cast and crew of Splitsville celebrated in style. It is possible that Johnson changed into the fur-trim slippers from the F/W 25 show after the festivities, but this has not been officially confirmed.
The F/W 25 collection, a fashion collection by Gucci, showcased a range of unique and stylish pieces, with Johnson's dress from the show being no exception. The collection was presented in Milan last February.
