Denver Broncos kick off their pre-season in style

The Denver Broncos began their pre-season campaign with a victory, defeating San Francisco 30-9. Quarterback Jarrett Stidham threw two touchdowns in the game, one to Lucas Krull and the other to Trent Sherfield Senior. The Broncos' defense also shone, holding San Francisco to 1 of 12 on third down conversions, intercepting 3 passes, and recovering 1 fumble. Backup quarterbacks also contributed to the team's success, accounting for 3 touchdowns. The Broncos will play their next pre-season game at home against Arizona.
Sheridan Bronc football aims to extend record-breaking streak
The 4-time defending state champ in Wyoming Class 4A, Sheridan Bronc football, is set to start their season today. The team currently holds the state's longest winning and unbeaten streak at 43 games, with the longest home winning streak in state history (currently tied at 28 games). The team's goal is to extend these records this season. The team's home opponents include Natrona County, Cheyenne Central, and Laramie, with the home opener scheduled for September 5th vs. Thunder Basin.
Colorado Rockies face a tough stretch
The Colorado Rockies are currently in a seven-game losing streak, with the latest loss being 13-6 against Arizona. Brenton Doyle, however, has been a shining light for the team, hitting two 2-run home runs in the last two games.
Golf and Tennis practices commence
Practice for all classes of golf and tennis starts today. The Sheridan girls' golf team was last year's 4A State Runners-Up, while Tongue River girls were 3rd in Class 2A. The Sheridan boys' tennis team was last year's state runners-up as well.
Volleyball, Cross Country, and Girls Swimming practices start soon
All other fall sports, including volleyball, cross country, and girls swimming, can start practice one week from today.
