The Sheridan WYO Rodeo 2025, a much-anticipated event in the rodeo community, has come to a close, with several exciting performances and winners emerging.

In the Bareback Riding competition, Samuel Petersen of Helena, Montana, clinched the victory with an impressive 91 points. Damien Brennan of Australia took the top spot in the Saddle Bronc Riding with a 93 point ride. The Bull Riding results are still pending.

Meanwhile, in the Goat Tying competition, Bleu Butler from Big Horn is set to make her debut tonight, while Reo Lohse, a Kaycee native, won the steer roping event with a time of 51.3 seconds on 4. Don Payne of Texas won the Steer Wrestling with a combined time of 8.5 seconds on 2.

The Sheridan Troopers had a successful weekend, sweeping the Billings Royals, with scores of 10-0 and 5-4 in the two games. They will conclude their conference play this week, with a double-header on Wednesday at Gillette and another game at Rock Springs on Sunday.
