Tips to Crush Wordle!
We have a few strategy guides you might want to read, if you're a Wordle connoisseur. Here's the lowdown on three tactics:
- Consonants on Point: Take advantage of consonants to get closer to the secret word. If you learn that the word has to end in -OUND, for instance, don't waste four guesses on MOUND, ROUND, SOUND, and HOUND; combine those consonants and guess MARSH. If you nail the H, you know the answer.
- Use the Feedback wisely: The green, yellow, and gray feedback reveals a lot! Green letters are right where they belong, yellow ones are hiding elsewhere in the word, and grays don't belong at all. Use this valuable info to refine your guesses.
- Experiment: Try swapping potential letters around and see what the feedback reveals. Don't hesitate to change your mind and try a new letter combination!
- Capitalize on common letters: Frequent letters like E, A, O, T, I, and N appear frequently in Wordle answers. Use these letters to boost your odds of cracking the code!
