Cycling team VfR Büttgen maintains a substantial financial equilibrium at the intermediate level

In the first half of the 2023 season, VfR Buetten's cycling department has seen considerable success. While the junior team is basking in a well-earned break, the Bundesliga team, 'Team Sportforum', is consistently jet-setting across Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

The VfR cycling team is experiencing a successful 2023 season, with their performance already surpassing the achievements of the previous year. By the halfway point, the team has secured 40 victories and 74 podium finishes, surpassing the 42 victories and 58 podium finishes they achieved in 2022.

The team's junior members have also made a significant impact, with two gold and two silver medals already won at national championships this year.

Chairman Lars Witte acknowledges the hard work of the coaching team, who give their all for the athletes every day. He also expresses gratitude towards the entire board team.

Looking ahead, the VfR cycling team is eagerly anticipating several upcoming events. From September 22 to 24, they will compete in the German Championships in Omnium and Madison U15/U17 at the Sportforum in Büttgen. On September 30, they will participate in the Herbst-RTF. The team is also looking forward to the Dauner-Winterbahnmeisterschaften in the first two weekends of December.
