Revamped Cycling Delight Awaits in the Lower Rhine!

This year, the afterparty for the Lower Rhine Cycling Day is jam-packed with excitement! With a smorgasbord of tours to pick from, cyclists can explore 56 cities and municipalities, choosing amongst 99 thrilling routes. Staked throughout various towns are fixed stations, offering enticing raffle opportunities. Simply scan the QR code at each info point using your smartphone to unlock a trivia question. Dazzling prizes, such as a top-notch bicycle from Radsport Claassen in Kempen and a generous voucher from the Best Western Plus Hotel in Brüggen, await the lucky winners! Keep your eye on the ball, as the info point for Niederkrüchten sets up shop at the "Treff 13" youth center in Elmpt. Strategically located at the crossroads of three alluring routes and a family-friendly route, here you can stock up on energy with delectable snacks during a well-deserved break before hitting the road again.

Those electing to commence their journey on route 54 (67 kilometers) will pedal from Elmpt via Brüggen, Schwalmtal, and Nettetal back to Niederkrüchten. Fancy a challenge? Hop on route 100, a 65-kilometer adventure beginning in Elmpt, meandering through Brüggen, Born, Brempt, Wegberg, Wildenrath, Dalheim, and looping back to Elmpt.

For an adrenaline rush, embark on route 111 (55 kilometers), tackling Overhetfeld, the Venekotensee, and the German-Dutch border before weaving towards Herkenbosch and Vlodrop, and ultimately scudding past Wildenrath, Rö́dgen, Oberkrüchten, and back to Elmpt. For a more Familial adventure,family route 60, designed with kids in mind at a scant 17 kilometers, will whisk you from Elmpt via Overhetfeld and Brüggen around the Hariksee and back.

Remember, cyclists are not bound to the predetermined routes, so feel free to create your own adventure. Those who embark on their journey on July 6th and answer the questions from at least three info points correctly can still take a swing at the raffle, regardless of their chosen path.

The Lower Rhine Cycling Day is a joint venture between Niederrhein-Tourismus and local cities and municipalities, with gracious support from Sparkassen, the NEW, the ADFC, and Best Western Plus.
