A cyclist has lost his life in a traffic accident that occurred in Nürtingen, Esslingen district. The man, aged 40, succumbed to his severe injuries at the scene of the accident.

According to the police, the accident took place on Engelbergweg, as the man was traveling from Achalmstraße towards Roßbergstraße. Other road users found the severely injured man around 10 pm. Despite immediate resuscitation efforts, the man died at the scene of the accident. It is worth noting that the victim was not wearing a bicycle helmet at the time of the accident.

The traffic police in Esslingen took over the on-site police measures, and investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing. Preliminary findings suggest that the man may have collided with the curb without external influence, causing him to fall and remain on the road with his bike.
