Stefan Kueng (Groupama-FDJ) finished the time trial in 14:51, one second behind Turner, while Alberto Bettiol (XDS-Astana) took a risk on a late roundabout, cutting across a cobbled sector, and finished in 14:57, 14 seconds slower than Milesi.
Unfortunately, race leader Victor Langellotti (Ineos Grenadiers) struggled in the time trial, starting last in a full yellow skinsuit. Despite setting a time of 15:17, he slipped down to fifth overall at 39 seconds.
A total of 115 riders started the time trial, with only three managing to break the 15-minute barrier. The Tour de Pologne has been a thrilling race so far, and with McNulty's victory, the excitement is set to continue in the upcoming stages.
