Cycling Accidents Involving Speedy Bikes
On a sunny afternoon on September 14th, a traffic accident occurred on the federal highway B265 in Zülpich-Weiler, involving two cyclists from Cologne.
At around 3:30 PM, a 57-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman, both avid cyclists, were riding their racing bikes in the same direction on the highway. For unknown reasons, the man fell off his bike, and the woman, unfortunately, collided with him as he was on the ground.
Both cyclists were injured in the fall. The man, whose identity remains undisclosed, was riding his racing bike in the direction of Zülpich-Weiler. The woman was also riding her racing bike and fell off her bike in the accident.
After the accident, both injured individuals were quickly attended to by emergency services and were taken to hospitals in ambulances. The exact nature of their injuries and their current condition are not yet known.
The accident took place on the flat area of Zülpich-Weiler, on the federal highway B265. The authorities are investigating the incident, and more information is expected to be released in due course.
