From the 10th to the 18th of May, 2025, the capital city of Kazakhstan transformed into a battleground of epic proportions, as the PGL Major Astana 2025 took center stage.

"Sixteen teams from across the globe - the USA, Germany, Serbia, Brazil, Ukraine, Mongolia, Russia, and more - let their adrenaline flow during this fierce competition." Our own homegrown talents shone bright, with Kazakhstan's Top 5 - K. Fayznurov ("ICY"), A. Kaiyrzhan ("kade0"), S. Orazaly("dukefissura"), D. Golubenko ("molodoy"), and coach R. Telepov ("mou") - showcasing their skills as part of various competing teams.

This tournament is divided into two electrifying stages:

The Heart of the Storm (Elimination Stage). In this closed-door arena, teams engage in a relentless fray to earn their place in the playoffs. The competition format is a challenging Swiss system, where each match is a best-of-3 showdown, with teams requiring three victories to advance, and those enduring three defeats leaving the contest.

The Champions Arena (Playoffs). The top 8 teams from the groups square off in a fierce single-elimination bracket. There's no room for hesitation here - every match, including the grand finale, is a best-of-3, with the ultimate victor taking the crown of PGL Major Astana 2025 champion and a substantial portion of the prize pool.
