New Luxury Boats Unveiled: Frauscher 1414 Demon and Otam 90 GTS
In the world of luxury yachting, two new additions are making waves. The Frauscher 1414 Demon and the Otam 90 GTS, both showcasing unique designs and features, are turning heads at boat shows and in the yachting community.
Frauscher 1414 Demon: A F1-Inspired Day Boat
Currently on display at the 2023 Boot Duesseldorf Boat Show, the Frauscher 1414 Demon stands out with its carbon-fiber dash, reminiscent of Formula One race cars. The boat's sleek design is further enhanced by a garage capable of accommodating a 4.35m tender, which can be customized to suit individual needs.
The main deck of the Frauscher 1414 Demon offers multiple day boating zones, including a vast bathing platform and a dinette on the long raked bow. The aft cockpit leads down to the bathing platform, which has room for freestanding furniture and water toys. The accommodation includes three ensuite cabins and a lower lounge, but the lower deck can be tailored to meet individual needs.
Otam 90 GTS: The New Flagship of Otam's "Fast and Iconic" Line
The Otam 90 GTS, named Sexy Me, is a 27.75-metre high-performance sport-yacht developed by Italian builder Otam in collaboration with BG Design’s Giuseppe Bagnardi. It adopts a true superyacht build process and boasts a vast bathing platform ideal for chilling out at sea level.
The Otam 90 GTS comes in beneath the 24m loadline length, offering advantages in terms of manning and maintenance. It is powered by a pair of MTU 16V 2000s and Arneson surface drives, enabling high speeds, with an expected top speed in excess of 40 knots.
The yacht's hull is coated in a silver metallic paint with bronze accents, while the galley is separated from the VIP area for extra privacy, especially when crew is present. The first boat of the Otam 90 GTS series will have its hull paint developed by Awlgrip for the owner.
A Unique Collaboration
Close collaboration between the Genoa-based shipyard and Giuseppe Bagnardi of BG Design has resulted in plenty of cool detailing on the Frauscher 1414 Demon. The Otam 90 GTS, on the other hand, is defined by its custom-friendly features, allowing each boat to become a one-off.
The Otam 90 GTS is the new flagship of Otam's "Fast and Iconic" line and is reported to be delivered and ready for its Cannes debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2024. The Frauscher 1414 Demon, while not having a flybridge, delivers a range of day boating zones nonetheless.
