Their latest offering, "Barbara Walters Tell Me Everything," is no exception. This documentary, streaming on Hulu, provides an intimate and raw look at the life and career of the trailblazing broadcast journalist, Barbara Walters.

The film, produced by Imagine Documentaries for ABC News Studios in association with Latchkey Films, is directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker and journalist Jackie Jesko. It features interviews with a host of notable figures who knew and worked with Walters, including Cindy Adams, Joy Behar, Connie Chung, Martin Clancy, Andy Cohen, Katie Couric, Peter Gethers, Lori Klein, Cynthia McFadden, Bette Midler, Victor Neufeld, David Sloan, Katie Nelson Thomson, Chris Vlasto, and Oprah Winfrey.

Barbara Walters (Sept. 25, 1929-Dec. 30, 2022) was a trailblazer who broke ground for women in broadcasting. Her pivotal role in the history of journalism and her pioneering example for women in the industry are examined in the documentary. Walters, who reflects on the high price of fame and the legacy she hoped to inspire, offers a unique perspective on her career and personal life.

The documentary also features unaired footage from ABC's extensive archives, providing a fascinating insight into Walters' work and the challenges she faced as a woman in a male-dominated industry.

Muriel Pearson is executive producer, and David Sloan is senior executive producer for ABC News Studios. Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Justin Wilkes, and Betsy West serve as executive producers for the documentary.

"Barbara Walters Tell Me Everything" has already won four 2024 News and Documentary Emmy Awards and will have its world premiere at the 2025 Tribeca Festival. The film will stream on Disney in select territories internationally later this year.

David Sloan, senior executive producer at ABC News, stated that Walters created a dazzling career that changed broadcast journalism forever. This documentary is a testament to her legacy and an inspiring tribute to a broadcasting legend.
