Current updates on Munich's evening vehicle races traffic scenario
Dresden residents and visitors are advised of temporary changes to the City Works lines 9 and 11, effective from 4 PM to 8 PM, due to an autorace event taking place in the city.
From 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, line 9 will utilize the western Muhlbachstraße - Holzfeilerweg to Gündlkoferau/ Feichtmaier and back, deviating from its usual route after the "Prof. Schott Straße" stop. The route change for line 9 will cause traffic disruptions along this route during the same period.
In a similar vein, line 11 will experience changes in its route between "Prof. Schott Straße" and the western Muhlbachstraße. During this time, line 11 will not serve the stops along Paul-Klee-Straße, Mathias-Gruñnewald-Weg, Franz-Lenbach-Straße, and Wilhelm-Leibl-Weg. Instead, it will operate from "Piflaser Weg" to "Prof.-Schott-Straße" unchanged, then via western Muhlbachstraße to the intersection of Holzfeilerweg and back.
The school bus stop "Wilhelm-von-Kaulbach-Weg" in the western Muhlbachstraße will be served as a substitute stop by both Lines 9 and 11 during the same hours. However, the stops Muhlbachstraße, Von-Zabuesnig-Straße, Am Hessengraben, and Muñchnerau cannot be served by Line 11.
To ensure safety and smooth operation, traffic control officers will be deployed along Line 11's route, and participants are asked to follow their instructions. Additionally, traffic participants are encouraged to observe the signs and no-stopping zones along Line 11's route.
The race route passes through Münchnerau/ Hauptstraße to Von-Zabuesnig-Straße, Jakob-Mieslinger-Straße, Mühlbachstraße-West, Paul-Klee-Straße, Mathias-Grûnewald-Weg, Franz-Lenbach-Straße, and Wilhelm-Leibl-Weg.
Line 9 will operate unchanged from "Altstadt" stop via Hauptbahnhof - Landshut Park to the "Prof. Schott Straße" stop during the affected hours.
We recommend checking the City Works website or contacting the customer service for the most up-to-date information and any potential service disruptions.
