Welcome back, traveler! In the realm of Genshin Impact, banners are constantly evolving, jeopardizing your Primogems at every turn. Here's a breakdown of the current and upcoming banners to keep your loot-hunting adventure on track.
Spicier than a chili pepper, Genshin'sEvent Wishes* don't play around. These limited-time rotating banners typically last three weeks, with a new set of characters taking the stage once an old one vanishes. Tab your Primogems for them, or save them for the permanent banners.
To pull (a.k.a. Wishing) on these limited-time banners, you'll need Intertwined Fate - if you're wishing on Acquaint Fate instead, you're diving into Genshin's Beginner's Banner. Though limited-time characters can be challenging to obtain, they're better bets than landing Xilonen (remember the roller skating character?) only to realize you've missed a boat.
Scanning the Horizon: What's Next?
There's no gymnastics required to predict the next characters joining the Genshin Impact fray. Skirk and Dahlia will make their debuts in version 5.7, as confirmed by their drip marketing on Genshin's official social media channels. Get ready to welcome Skirk, the new 5-star Cryo Sword character, and Dahlia, whose specifics remain under wraps, on June 18, 2025, through July 8, 2025. If you're a fan of reruns, wash your hands on Emilie, Shenhe, Mavuika, and other characters who may grace the stage in the coming weeks.
Remember, after a 18-month silence, Skirk made an appearance to send Childe through a portal, and Dahlia has been on the Genshin radar for four years. It's nice to see miHoYo gives these characters a chance to shine again (unlike Genshin's Switch port and anime adaptation, unfortunately).
The Present Banners: Who's In?
Currently, the Raiden Shogun and Kinich are flexing their muscles in Genshin Impact. The banners for these characters will end on June 17. Kinich is a returning 5-star Dendro Claymore user on his Seeker of Flame-Wrought Secrets Banner, while Raiden Shogun, a 5-star Electro Polearm user, is back on her Reign of Serenity Banner.
Primogems, beware - an Inazuman-themed Chronicled Wish Banner is also running until June 17. All of the five-star characters and weapons associated with this banner are listed below.
Arataki Itto, Kamisato Ayaka, Kamisato Ayato, Chiori, Kaedehara Kazuha, Sangonomiya Kokomi, Yae Miko, Yoimiya - these stellar characters are up for grabs, in addition to their signature weapons like Freedom-Sworn, Haran Geppaku Futsu, Mistsplitter Reforged, Uraku Misugiri, Redhorn Stonethresher, Everlasting Moonglow, Kagura's Verity, Thundering Pulse.
On a negative note, your pity doesn't carry over between Chronicled Wish Banners. The countdown resets when the Inazuman banner comes to an end.
Loading Up: Weapons on the Horizon
Since Skirk is headed to town, it's only natural to expect a new signature sword for her arsenal. If the leaks prove accurate, the upcoming weapon banner in version 5.7 will play host to Skirk's sword, Azurelight, as well as:
- Lumidouce Elegy: A 5-star polearm associated with Emilie (rumored).
- A Thousand Blazing Suns: A 5-star claymore linked to Mavuika (rumored).
- Calamity Queller: A 5-star polearm tied to Shenhe (rumored).
