Speaking of the negotiation process, Sopyan commented, "Signing Blazhievsky was a breeze for both parties." The normally reserved defender was more than ready to throw his hat into the ring with the Omsk team.

In the 2021-2022 regular season, Blazhievsky graced the "Traktor" with his presence in 62 games, managing 6 goals and 9 assists. He ended the season with a formidable +27 plus-minus rating. In the playoffs, he maintained his impressive form, scoring 5 goals and 5 assists in 21 games, wrapping up the Gagarin Cup playoffs with a +1 plus-minus rating.

Throughout his KHL career (which kicked off in the early 2010s), Blazhievsky has played a total of 602 games, scoring 37 goals, and making 87 assists, apart from his previous stints with CSKA and "Torpedo."
