Hey there!
Got some juicy news about Education Minister Conrad Clemens. Remember him? Well, he's in hot water now due to speeding!
He's looking at a two-month driving ban and a hefty fine, folks. The reason? He was nabbed zipping along at a whopping 80 km/h in a 30 km/h zone in Krauschwitz, a part of the district of Görlitz, East Saxony, according to Radio Lausitz.
"Oops, I did it again"
At first, he contested the speeding ticket, hoping for a fair hearing at Weißwasser District Court. But, guess what? He chose to own up to his mistake and signed up for a driver safety course instead. "Oops, I did it again. I fess up to it," he shared with the station.
The speeding incident happened way back in 2023. At the time, he was just the State Secretary and Commissioner of the Free State of Saxony at the federal level, not the Education Minister we know today.
