Group of Actors from Cult Movies Demanding Investigation - Cult film actors demand investigation

Hey there! Let's dive into a tale that has left many a fan of the silver screen scratching their heads for decades. We're talking about that badass electric guitar from the first "Back to the Future" movie - you know, the one Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) strummed while playing Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode." Now here's the kicker - no one seems to have a clue where it's hiding!

Now, it's almost 40 years since the movie graced our screens, and it's safe to say the legendary Gibson ES-345 has slipped through the cracks of time. But fear not, fans of the cult classic! The cast, along with Gibson, is banding together to crack this mystery once and for all. In a video update on their official YouTube channel, Marty, his mom Lorraine Baines McFly (Lea Thompson), and the ever-madcap Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) have made a heartfelt plea to fans for help in locating the beloved guitar.

Lost in Time or the Garage Next Door?

"It's fucking important, you bunch of knuckleheads," Lloyd declares in the video, drawing nostalgic smiles from fans. "It's about time we located the electric guitar I played in 'Back to the Future.' According to Harry Waters Jr., who takes on the role of Marvin Berry - the fictional cousin of Chuck Berry - the guitar vanished sometime in 1985."

"Could be stuck in some weird-ass space-time continuum, or it's probably just chilling in someone's garage," muses Fox. So, they're calling on the global community: "Neckbeards and denim jackets, unite! If you have any leads or tips on the guitar's whereabouts, reach out to us. Call, text, DM, whatever the kids are doing these days!"

The Quest for a Legendary Guitar

Behind this star-studded hunt is an upcoming documentary produced by none other than Gibson Guitars, timed to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the film. The doc will not only delve into the search for the lost instrument but also explore the enduring legacy of this groundbreaking film. However, the release date of the documentary does not align with the original film's U.S. premiere date of July 3, 1985. Instead, it will drop on October 21 - a momentous date in the "Back to the Future" universe that has been celebrated annually since 2015.

"Back to the Future Day," as fans know it, is a nod to the sequel in which Marty and Doc Brown travel to the year 2015. On the dedicated website for "Lost to the Future," fans can follow the countdown to October 21 and submit any useful information about the guitar's whereabouts.

I'm not letting this go without a fight, just like Marty McFly's relentless quest for Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" in the movies-and-tv realm of pop-culture. Together with the cast and Gibson Guitars, I'm not gonna let the iconic electric guitar from "Back to the Future" disappear into the annals of entertainment history. Let's all work together, neckbeards and denim jackets united, to bring back the missing guitar and honor its significant role in pop-culture.
