Maxim Mukhin Switches to FC Sochi on Loan

Maxim Mukhin, a 23-year-old Russian midfielder, has moved to FC Sochi on loan until June 30, 2026, with his contract valid until June 30, 2027. This move comes after spending five years with CSKA Moscow, where he made a significant impact with 70 appearances.

Mukhin's journey in professional football began with CSKA Moscow, but in mid-2025, he decided to continue his development and secure more playing time by joining FC Sochi. Before this move, he had been a consistent presence in the CSKA lineup from 2020 to 2025.

At Sochi, Mukhin wears jersey number 6 and stands tall at 181 cm. He is a right-footed player who has already made a mark in the Russian Premier League (RPL), scoring his first goal for CSKA Moscow in the league.

While Mukhin's international career and specific achievements are not extensively documented, it is known that he has represented the Russian national team in 7 matches, including 3 at Euro 2021. His career also includes a debut for the youth team of "Wings of the Soviets" at the age of 18.

Mukhin's career highlights with CSKA Moscow include winning the Russian Cup twice and contributing significantly to the team's silver season in the 2022/23 season, where they narrowly missed out on the championship in the final rounds. He also made his Champions League debut in November 2020, appearing as a substitute in a match against "Salzburg."

Prior to joining CSKA Moscow, Mukhin began his professional career in the "Wings of the Soviets" system and later made his debut at the highest level with Moscow's "Lokomotiv." During the 2019-2020 season, he played 15 matches for "Lokomotiv" in all tournaments and helped the team win the Russian Cup.

Mukhin is a versatile midfielder who can effectively play both in the defensive midfield and as an attacking midfielder. He graduated from the Toliatini Football Academy named after Yuri Konoplev.

This loan to FC Sochi is an exciting new chapter for Mukhin, who is eager to continue growing as a player and contributing to the success of his new team.

Bookmakers are predicting that Maxim Mukhin's goal-scoring abilities will contribute significantly to FC Sochi's sports-analysis data in the upcoming football seasons. With his versatile playing style, Mukhin's impact could be substantial in various aspects of sports-analysis, particularly in the attacking midfield positions.
