On September 7, 2025, Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, emphasized the importance of unity as a means for community transformation and development. This call was made at the Coronation ceremony of the Ajugbonjagun of Orokere Amuro, His Royal Highness Oba Michael Arogbonlo.

The event, marked by fanfare and a display of cultural heritage, was attended by various community and political leaders, including Hon. David Sunday Moses, Senior Special Assistants to the Governor Hon. Charles Omoyele, Hon. Sunday Ishola, Hon. Sunday Paul, and Hon. Obasun Samuel, Permanent Member 1 at the State Health Insurance Agency Hon. Jacob Abraham, Hon. Sogo Williams, Hon. Oladele, Hon. Bola Omoniwa, Hon. Femi Iroja, Hon. Dele Adekolade, and others.

Fanwo began his speech by expressing confidence in the new Monarch's capacity to usher in a new era of development in the community. He urged the Monarch to prioritize the development of their community above all else, encouraging him to be focused, prayerful, and trust in God for a record-breaking reign in terms of development.

Before Fanwo's speech, the Alamuro of Amuro, His Royal Majesty Engr Alfred Ayedogbon, admonished the Ajugbonjagun to lead with the fear of God and loyalty to the Government of Kogi State. Fanwo echoed these sentiments, urging everyone to listen to counsels, sieve the good from the bad, and maintain peace and order in their domains.

In addition, Fanwo emphasized the importance of supporting Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for continued success. He urged the Monarch and the Orokere people to continue supporting the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, stating that peace and unity are essential for any society to develop.

Currently, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo leads the government of Kogi State, while the Ajugbonjagun of Orokere Amuro, His Royal Highness Oba Michael Arogbonlo, is supported in his duties. The coronation ceremony was a significant event in the community, symbolizing the start of a new era under the leadership of the new Monarch.
