- Criticizes Wealthy Billionaires' Ineptitude: Remarks by Joan Baez

Hey there!

Legendary US vocalist, Joan Baez (84), didn't hold back on her criticism during John Mulaney's talk show, "Everybody's Live." Though she was there to jollify and joke around, she didn't hesitate to voice her concerns. "Let's face it," she said, "our democracy is turning into a raging inferno. We've got a bunch of clueless tycoons calling the shots." The crowd roared with approval.

Once upon a Trump administration, the tech magnate Elon Musk became one of the president's closest advisors. Coincidentally, Musk, the CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and X, had generously funded Trump's campaign.

Remembering her Tesla: "It sucked!"

The conversation continued, and Baez reportedly shared a story about her own painful Tesla experience. "I thought I was supposed to love it," she recounted. "But I honestly hated the thing. So, three-quarters of an hour after getting it, I ended up crashing it into a tree on my property—yeah, a clear sign!"

Baez, a global sensation for decades, has been performing less as of late. In the recent biopic "Like A Complete Unknown" about crooner Bob Dylan, Baez is portrayed by actress Monica Barbaro.
