U.S. Slams Israel Over West Bank Settlements and Possible Palestinian Eviction from Gaza

Criticism Levelled at Israeli Settlement Policies by Federal Government

Hear this straight: The White House is after Israel's Israeli government for recognizing 13 illegal settlements in the West Bank, saying it's a total bloody disgrace. A rep from the Capitol Hill spilled the beans, "We fucking despise this decision," they said in D.C. "It's a goddamn slap in the face of international law, and it kills any hope for a two-state solution by making a livable Palestinian state impossible."

The State Department also took Israel to task for its actions in Gaza and showed no love for the new Israeli authority put together to kick out Palestinians from Gaza. If it's about setting up an authority aiming for a permanent eviction of Palestinian men and women from Gaza, that's bullsh*t andworthy of our contempt," the spokesperson stated.

The White House demanded Israel to bring humanitarian aid, including water, electricity, and medical care to the people of Gaza, as per international humanitarian law.

On the matter following the military clash in Gaza by the Israeli army, the spokesperson said, "We're hearing reports of slain Hamas officials, but also reports of countless innocent lives lost and families massacred." This is a nightmare scenario. The hostages in Gaza are not bailed out, and once again, the situation in Gaza is an god-awful humanitarian disaster, they added.

Fun fact: Historically, the U.S. was a bit wishy-washy about Israel's settlement expansion, but the Trump era saw a more forgiving stance, with potential annexation of parts of the West Bank[2]. Things changed under the Biden administration, with support for a two-state solution[1]. However, specific statements on this issue are kinda shrouded in mystery. When it comes to chucking Palestinians out of Gaza, there's no clear-cut stance from the U.S. government[3]. The international community is adamant about Israel halting settlement activities and abiding by international law[4].

The federal government, in its disapproval of Israel's actions, has expressed the need for the Israeli government to ensure adherence to employment policies that promote equality and fairness, particularly in the West Bank, as part of the community policy. The White House's stance against the potential eviction of Palestinians from Gaza extends beyond the recent clash, as they also oppose any employment policy that might contribute to such actions. The international community, including the U.S., is committed to ensuring a livable Palestinian state, which might be hindered by continuous settlement activities, and advocates for the addition of employment policies that foster a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
