Crime Saga Debuts as a Thrilling Crime Drama
The Lotumer Buretheater is set to present a new play, "Ech breng em öm!", on October 10, 2022, at the Forum Wasserturm on Rhine Street. This crime comedy, directed by Robert Paas, marks a first for the Buretheater.
In "Ech breng em öm!", Wolfgang Küsters plays a toilet paper factory owner who is a passionate football fan and is constantly at odds with his wife. The character's life takes an unexpected turn when both he and his wife hire a killer to eliminate their spouses.
Tim Thoennissen, a returnee to the Buretheater, is also part of the production. Thoennissen was previously a fixed part of the ensemble from 2009 to 2013. This time around, he returns after a ten-year theater break for personal reasons.
The ensemble also welcomes Susanne Reddmann, a new addition from the CAG Theater in Osterath.
Rehearsals for the play have been underway, but have been complicated by some actors being on vacation. Despite this, rehearsals for the final act are currently in progress.
Tickets for the play cost 16 euros and can be purchased exclusively through the bookstore Mrs. Books, Hauptstraße 35 in Lank-Latum (cash only). The ticket sale begins on Monday, September 8.
