Crime-filled Spectacle takes over Lünen with adrenaline-pumping Criminal Events in Bloody Lip 5

The fifth edition of the popular crime festival "Bloody Lippe" is set to take place in Lünen, Germany, from October 30, 2025, to November 13, 2025. This year, Lünen is represented with three events, in cooperation with the Lünen Cultural Office.

The festival will kick off on October 30, 2025, at 7 pm, with a crime kick-off event at the Bürger-Bücherei-Brambauer. The event will feature German-speaking crime authors transforming the location into a fictional crime scene. Hartmut Marks (festival director) and Magnus See (author and publisher) will open the event, while Hartmut Marks and Magnus See will handle the moderation.

On November 5, 2025, Isabella Archan will read from her new crime novel "The Snake of Sirmione" at LÜKAZ Lünen. Admission for this event is 30 € (25 € in advance), and tickets can be purchased at the Lünen Cultural Office, LÜKAZ, and online via Pretix.

The festival will conclude on Thursday, November 13, 2025, in the Bürgerzentrum Gahmen, with Doris Oetting reading from her new crime novel. The specific title of her newest crime novel for this reading is not explicitly mentioned, but Doris Oetting is known for crime stories. Wine expert Bernd Molitor will accompany the event and present five suitable wines. An interactive crime quiz will round off the event, offering attractive prizes.
