In the world of Baldur's Gate 3, a unique detective character ai has captured the attention of gamers worldwide. Valeria, a member of the Hollyphant species, stands out not only for her distinct appearance but also for her cool and nonchalant demeanour.

Valeria is depicted wearing a detective's cap, adding to her intriguing persona. The character's design is considered important in the game, with her hat being a significant element that contributes to her overall appeal.

During the development process, the writing team decided to include a scene where Valeria would enjoy a drink after completing an investigation. This scene, however, was met with some resistance, particularly from the cinematic artists who found it challenging to depict. Despite the initial reservations, the wine-drinking scene was included in the final version of Baldur's Gate 3.

The character of Valeria was demanding during development, according to Martin Docherty, a junior writer at Larian. Docherty pitched Valeria as a character who was like Columbo but bad at his job, a concept that seems to resonate with her morally questionable actions in the game.

The Shadowheart actor, who portrays Valeria, enjoys performing morally questionable actions in video games. In Baldur's Gate 3, however, the Dark Urge character proves to be a challenge for the actor, as he finds it difficult to be truly evil. Conversely, the actor is making an effort to play the Dark Urge character in a more evil manner.

One of the most intriguing aspects of Valeria's character is the significant element of alcohol consumption. Creating a pompous, drunken elephant character was challenging, according to Docherty. Despite the challenges, the development team managed to create a character that is both entertaining and engaging.

As for the carpenter who created Valeria's elephant-like figure, there are no search results indicating his name. Regardless, the end result is a character that adds a unique flavour to the game, making Baldur's Gate 3 an exciting adventure for players.
