Cowboy and Steelers organizations strike a trade deal, centered on wide receiver George Pickens.

Hey there! Jerry Jones, the big honcho of the Dallas Cowboys, is cookin' up some serious deals before or after the 2025 NFL Draft. And Micky, Keyshawn, Paulie, and Joy were chattin' about who the 'Boys should pick in the first round.

In a recent development, the Cowboys traded for wide receiver George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers will get a 2026 third-rounder and some draft pick swaps, while the Cowboys snagged Pickens and a 2026 sixth-round draft pick in return. Dak Prescott, the Cowboys' QB, has another toy to play with, easing some heat off CeeDee Lamb.

For Pickens, his time with the Cowboys will be his chance to prove his worth. It's the last year of his rookie contract, and if the Cowboys don't re-sign him, he'll be a free agent.

Pickens has 59 catches, 900 yards, and 3 TDs under his belt, but he's caused a bit of commotion. He argued with fans, got into a tussle with a Cleveland Browns player, and got called out by Mike Tomlin for multiple game infractions. On a sour note, he wasn't too optimistic after their loss to the Ravens in the playoffs.

The Cowboys finished last season with a dismal 7-10 record, and Prescott got hurt, sidelines 'em mid-season. The Cowboys underperformed, ending up 17th in yards gained and 21st in points scored.

Jones mentioned some substantial trades, and that George Pickens deal was one piec'a of it. Let's wait and see if he cooks up somethin' else before or after the draft.

The Cowboys parted ways with Mike McCarthy, appointin' Brian Schottenheimer as their new head coach. Keep an eye out for more updates on our site, and subscribe to the Sports Huddle newsletter to stay in the loop! Till next time, peace out!
