Pavlovsk District to Open Pharmacy Outlet Following Court Ruling

Court Orders Rural Hospital to Provide Local Pharmacy Access

The Pavlovsk District Court has ruled in favor of a lawsuit against the Pavlovsk Central District Hospital, a state healthcare institution under the Krasnodar Territory's Ministry of Health, as reported by the region's Unified Press Service of the Courts.

Written evidence and testimony from those involved in the case confirmed that the rural settlement of Severnoye lacks retail sales of medications, medical supplies, and a commercial pharmacy network. Residents—including the elderly, people with disabilities, and children—have no local access to essential medicines, meaning the Pavlovsk Central District Hospital has failed to uphold their right to affordable pharmaceutical care.

After reviewing the case materials, the court ordered the hospital to establish a pharmacy service within the Severnoye rural outpatient clinic within three months of the ruling taking legal effect.
