Court Hearing for Jimi Blue Oxenknecht Scheduled for August 22.
In a dramatic turn of events, actor Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, the son of renowned German actor Uwe Ochsenknecht, has been extradited to Innsbruck, Austria, to face serious fraud charges.
The charges, which include an outstanding bill of nearly 14,000 euros from a multi-day birthday celebration at a hotel in Tyrol, Austria, in late 2021, were first reported by the "Tiroler Tageszeitung." The alleged unpaid bill also includes a restaurant bill of 1,900 euros.
Jimi Blue was provisionally arrested and taken into custody at Hamburg Airport at the end of June 2025. He was later extradited to Austria in a multi-day transport with stopovers in July. Upon arrival, he was released on bail.
During the court hearing, Ochsenknecht told the judge that he would take responsibility for the matter but made no statement on the accusation. Despite repeated reminders, offers of installment plans, and court proceedings, the bill was not paid before it was settled. His ex-partner has reportedly paid the outstanding hotel bill on his behalf.
The court appearance is scheduled for August 22 at Innsbruck Regional Court, and the hearing is expected to last around an hour. If convicted, Ochsenknecht faces a potential prison sentence in Austria. The case remains ongoing, and the Austrian authorities continue to investigate and prosecute the matter.
Meanwhile, Ochsenknecht has been open about his situation on Instagram, admitting mistakes and reflecting on the events.
Amidst these legal troubles, the Ochsenknecht family's TV series, "Diese Ochsenknechts," will reportedly include a topic about Jimi Blue's arrest and extradition to Austria. Jimi Blue is currently living with his sister Cheyenne in Austria.
