Couple hospitalized after late-night house fire in Kampung Tok Kapor

A couple suffered burns after a fire broke out in their home in Kampung Tok Kapor. The Chukai Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) received an emergency call at 2.51 am, dispatching a team of 21 firefighters to the scene. They took about half an hour to bring the flames under control and stop the fire from spreading further. The couple was treated by Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) personnel before being rushed to Kemaman Hospital. The fire caused significant damage, with the couple remaining under medical care for their injuries. Firefighters have confirmed the blaze was fully extinguished, though the cause is still under investigation. The extent of property loss includes a motorcycle and partial damage to a car.
