Country Sensation Riley Green Announces Pittsburgh Return
Country music artist Riley Green is set to make a triumphant return to the Pittsburgh area next summer. The tour, titled "Cowboy As It Gets," will see Green joined by Justin Moore, Mackenzie Carpenter, and Adam Hood.
The tour is scheduled to commence on April 16 in Mississippi and is expected to run through mid-August. The Pittsburgh show will take place at The Pavilion at Star Lake on Friday, June 26.
Presale tickets for the Star Lake show will be available from Thursday at 10 a.m., with general tickets going on sale the following day at the same time.
Riley Green has a history of performing in the Pittsburgh area, having played shows over the past few years. In the winter of 2024, Green played a show at the Petersen Events Center on Pitt's campus, and he also opened for Luke Combs at Acrisure Stadium in the summer of 2023.
Mike Darnay, a digital producer and photojournalist at a Pittsburgh news outlet, has previously covered the event and will likely be on hand to report on the upcoming show. Darnay has also written and produced content for Vox Media and the Mon Valley Independent, and often covers overnight breaking news, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and high school sports.
In a surprising turn of events, pop sensation Taylor Swift organized a concert in Pittsburgh in July 2023 as part of her "The Eras Tour" before continuing to other locations in the USA. It seems that the city's love for music is as strong as ever, with country fans eagerly anticipating the arrival of Riley Green and his fellow musicians.
So, mark your calendars and get ready for a night of foot-stomping, heart-pumping country music. Riley Green's return to Pittsburgh is not to be missed!
