Countdown to Launch on September 15th is nearly complete.
The much-anticipated Santander Run & Fun is set to take place at the Hockeypark in Mönchengladbach on an invigorating 5.2-kilometer course around the Nordpark. This year's event promises to be more exciting than ever, with a host of new features and categories to cater to both seasoned runners and casual participants.
Companies from Mönchengladbach and the surrounding region are warmly invited to participate in this community-focused event. Each company needs a team captain to handle all aspects of the corporate run and register employees at www.santander-runfun-de.
The Team Speed category will award 1st place for women, men, and mixed teams, adding an element of friendly competition to the day. For those who prefer to run individually, the Individual Speed categories will award places 1-3 for women and men. A Special Speed Award will be given to the fastest female/male CEO, recognising the importance of corporate involvement.
To encourage creativity and camaraderie, a Most Creative Outfit category will also be introduced, offering another opportunity for teams to shine.
The course winds around the Nordpark, leading from the Hockeypark, past the Santander building at the NEW Box (formerly Redbox) heading north, before ending back at the stadium. Two supply stations along the route ensure that participants stay hydrated and energised.
To add an extra layer of excitement, various Samba bands and cheerleaders will support the participants, creating a lively and festive atmosphere throughout the day. New this year is an entertainment point at the mags, further enhancing the experience for all involved.
Runners can rest assured that free parking spaces P4 and P5 are available for participants until 6:15 PM, but the course will be closed to traffic afterwards. Detailed directions can be found on the official event website www.santander-run-fun-mg.de.
Santander Deutschland will donate a total of 25,000 euros, which will be distributed to local sports clubs and other non-profit organizations, demonstrating the event's commitment to giving back to the community.
Results, times, and certificates will be available on the official event website immediately after the finish, and high-resolution photos will be available for download two days after the event. Winners in various categories will be honoured after the run, making for a memorable and rewarding day for all participants.
