In Burton’s 1988 flick, Bo Welch, the film’s production designer, played a significant role in crafting both the Beetlejuice and Deetz characters' looks. While the specific costume credits list Aggie Guerard Rodgers and Van Smith, the film's makeup, special effects, and Beetlejuice's appearance, it was a collaborative creative process between Burton, Welch, and Smith that ultimately shaped the most iconic looks.[3] On set, most of the fashion creation fell to Aggie, while Welch'sProduction design had a substantial impact on the characters' wardrobes.
