The Government of India and the Indian Army held a media briefing at 10:35 am on Wednesday, following Operation Sindoor. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri began the briefing, asserting the Resistance Front, which claimed responsibility for the Pahalgam attack, has ties with Lashkar-e-Taiba, thereby establishing Pakistan's links to the attack.

Pakistan's Reaction
Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, strongly denounced India's actions, terming them a breach of the UN Charter, international law, and basic principles of nation-to-nation relationships. He accused the Indian leadership of exploiting terrorism for political gains. Pakistan also warned against the potential danger to regional peace and stability and the proximity of the two nuclear powers to a serious conflict.
International Response
US President, Donald Trump, called the escalating situation a "shame". He urged both India and Pakistan to step back to avoid further conflict, hoping for a swift resolution to the crisis. Similarly, US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, emphasized the urgent need for a speedy end to the ongoing tensions.
Israel has also voiced their support for India's right to self-defense, condemning terrorist activities, and promising that terrorists will have no safe haven. Meanwhile, most international communities have urged restraint to prevent any further escalation.
