Corinne Suter suffers torn muscle fiber and knee injury in St. Moritz crash
Swiss skier Corinne Suter suffered multiple injuries after a crash during downhill training in St. Moritz on Wednesday. Medical checks later confirmed a torn muscle fiber, a bruised knee, and a minor foot fracture. Fortunately, doctors have ruled out the need for surgery.
The accident happened while Suter was preparing for competition in St. Moritz. Scans and examinations revealed three separate injuries: a torn muscle fiber in her left lower leg, a bruised left knee joint, and a non-displaced fracture in her hindfoot.
Suter will now focus on rehabilitation over the next four weeks. Her team has not yet announced a specific return date, but she is expected to resume skiing once fully recovered. The crash has temporarily halted her season preparations.
