Converge FiberX Launches Wow Davao! with Month-Long Celebrations
Converge FiberX has launched its Wow Davao! campaign to celebrate Araw ng Dabaw and the city's vibrant culture. The month-long series of events kicked off on March 12, 2026, with activities designed to engage the local community and showcase Mindanaoan talent.
The campaign includes gaming tournaments, live music, and free internet access for residents. Converge also used the occasion to reward loyal subscribers and strengthen its commitment to expanding fibre connectivity in the region.
The campaign began with a launch event where Converge recognised seven long-time Davao subscribers. Each received a new Smart TV as a token of appreciation for their loyalty.
On March 15, the *Hugyaw Dabaw Sound Xperience* concert took centre stage, featuring performances by local bands and DJs. The event highlighted Mindanao's musical talent while drawing crowds from across the city. Next, on March 22, Converge will host the *Dula! Dabawenyo Esports Festival*. The tournament will showcase competitive gaming and introduce a new internet plan tailored for gamers. This follows the company's ongoing efforts to support digital entertainment in the region. The campaign will also see the opening of a new business centre in Matina Crossing on March 26. The facility will provide in-person customer support and technical assistance to Converge users. The festivities will wrap up on March 28 with *Surf2Sawa*, a community event offering free internet access and entertainment. Residents can enjoy live performances, interactive activities, and connectivity services throughout the day. Converge has maintained a strong presence in Mindanao for years. The *Wow Davao!* campaign reinforces its dedication to improving fibre infrastructure and giving back to the communities it serves.
The Wow Davao! campaign runs until March 28, with events open to all residents. Converge has confirmed no further activities beyond those announced, including the esports festival, business centre launch, and final community gathering.
