Controversial YouTube Channel Zhytsyo-Malina Ends After Extremist Label

The YouTube channel Zhytsyo-Malina has announced its final release after five and a half years on air. The show, hosted solely by Nikita Melkozerov, was declared an extremist organisation in 2025 and will now cease production. The channel launched on June 27, 2020, with weekly episodes every Saturday. At its peak in April 2023, it had over 111,000 subscribers, though that number later dropped to 97,000. No replacement host will take over, as the team confirmed this would be the last broadcast. Despite its online presence, no verified public records link Zhytsyo-Malina to any known extremist group or individual operating a YouTube channel of this size since 2025. The channel's closure follows its 2025 extremist designation. With no successor planned, its final episode marks the end of a long-running project. No further details about the decision or its background have been made public.
