Controversial 'Fuck My Son' Horror-Comedy Hits Theaters After TIFF Debut

The controversial horror-comedy 'Fuck My Son' is set to hit movie theaters, following its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival's Midnight Madness slate. The film, an adaptation of Johnny Ryan's subversive comic book, has already sparked laughter, groans, and walkouts among audiences.

The trailer for 'Fuck My Son' was first revealed on Variety, giving a glimpse into the film's provocative humor and dark themes. The film is the brainchild of the Toronto chapter of Dum Dum Girls, a filmmaker-led collective comprising Todd Rohal, Tommy Lucente, James Belfer, Gavin Briscoe, and Michael Tully. They aim to retain full ownership and creative vision, releasing the film exclusively in movie theaters near me until at least 2026.

The film's initial screenings will take place in major cities across North America, including New York, Los Angeles, Austin, Brooklyn, San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, Toronto, and Philadelphia. After its successful premiere at TIFF, the film will also screen in Vancouver, Montreal, and New York in October 2021.
