Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition Returns Exclusively on Nintendo Switch Online
Get ready, gamers! The legendary Nintendo World Championships are back, this time as Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition, available exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online members. This competition runs from the current date until October 28, 2023, at 1:59 a.m. PT.
In this exciting event, players can strive to improve their personal bests as they take on challenges in both World Championships and Survival modes. The competition is not for the faint-hearted, as the game may test players' limits with tougher challenges.
The competition features more than 150 challenging moments from 13 classic NES games. Some of the games included are Super Mario Bros.TM: Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros.TM, Super Mario Bros. 3TM, Zelda II: The Adventure of LinkTM, and Balloon FightTM.
To participate, you'll need a Nintendo Switch Online membership, which auto-renews after the initial term unless canceled. Additionally, an internet connection is required for online features. Please note that Nintendo Switch Online membership and a Nintendo Account are sold separately.
Replays of the top runs for each challenge are available for viewing, providing valuable insights for improving individual times. These replays can help players learn strategies and techniques from the best of the best.
