The deadline for residents of Colesburg, Delaware, Delhi, Earlville, Edgewood, Greeley, and Ryan to file their candidacy for this year's City and School elections is fast approaching. The deadline for submitting paperwork is Thursday.

The City and School elections are scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 4th. However, there is currently no publicly available information regarding the candidates who have registered for the mayoral positions in these towns. It remains unclear whether there are enough applicants to fill the vacant council seats in Colesburg, Delaware, Delhi, Earlville, Edgewood, Greeley, and Ryan as well.

For those interested in running for a mayoral position or a council seat, it's important to note that the candidate paperwork for City elections must be filed with the Auditor's Office, while School board candidate paperwork should be submitted to the school secretary. Candidates have until 5 pm on Thursday to file their papers.

The lack of publicly announced candidates raises questions about the future leadership of these towns and their respective school boards. Residents are encouraged to closely follow the election process and consider running for office if they are passionate about making a difference in their communities.
