The first round of the Forst mayoral election has come to a close, and the results are causing a stir in the political landscape of the city. According to the CDU faction chairman Manfred Häffner, the strong showing by mayoral candidate Hajo Boöser is a clear signal of the candidate's potential.

Boöser, who represents the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), received an impressive 46.4% of the votes in the initial election. This impressive result has been attributed to his qualities and qualifications, which have evidently convinced the citizens of Forst.

The first round of the election was a significant event, as indicated by a joint press release from all the factions in the Forst city council. The statement praised Boöser's municipal political competence, his Baden joy of life, and his hands-on approach.

Incumbent Bernd Killinger, who is also an independent candidate, received 27.1% of the votes, but fell short of making it to the runoff. Jochen Bender, an independent candidate, received 26.4% of the votes but also failed to secure a spot in the runoff.
