The Football Committee Rees-Bocholt has announced the group allocations for the district leagues in the men's area for the upcoming 2025/2026 season. Among the teams competing, SV Rees and STV Hünxe have caught the attention of football enthusiasts as potential strong competitors in the Kreisliga B.

SV Rees, currently a team in Kreisliga C, group 2, will be aiming for promotion to the Kreisliga B, group 2, where they could face a formidable opponent in STV Hünxe. The latter has heavily reinforced their squad, making them a strong competitor in the promotion race.

Kreisliga B, group 2, consists of BSV Viktoria Wesel, PSV Wesel-Lackhausen III, SV 08/29 Friedrichsfeld II, STV Hünxe, TuS Drevenack, TV Voerde II, Weseler SV, SV Spellen II, SV Fortuna Millingen, SV BW Wertherbruch, GW Lankern, BW Dingden III, SV Rees, SV Blau-Weiß Bienen, SV Haldern II, and SV Ringenberg.
