Contented supporter for Borussia Dortmund and German national team: Schlotterbeck ahead of his return

Borussia Dortmund could see the return of defender Nico Schlotterbeck in their upcoming Bundesliga match this Sunday. The German footballer has been out of action for five months, but he seems set to make a comeback after a full recovery.

Coach Niko Kovač has announced that Schlotterbeck has fully trained and participated in the players' substitute training, hinting at a potential return to the squad. The exact time of his return is scheduled for 7:30 PM on Sunday, although the location of the game remains undisclosed.

The match on Sunday will mark Schlotterbeck's return to the Bundesliga since his last game on March 30. The defender could provide a much-needed boost to the Dortmund defence, especially with the absence of regular starters due to injuries and suspensions.

Meanwhile, Fabio Silva, the new signing from Wolverhampton Wanderers, is also expected to make his first appearance for BVB. However, Silva has been struggling with an old adductor injury and his participation in the game is yet to be confirmed. If he is fit, it will be his first training session with the Borussia Dortmund team.

Silva's teammate Fabio Reina has been reintegrated into the team and is expected to feature in the game on Sunday. The game follows the Champions League match in Turin, which Dortmund lost 2-1, and the team will be looking to bounce back with a strong performance in the Bundesliga.

The game on Sunday will be broadcast on DAZN, giving fans the opportunity to watch the return of Nico Schlotterbeck and the first appearance of Fabio Silva for Borussia Dortmund. The outcome of the match could be crucial for Dortmund's position in the Bundesliga table, as they look to maintain their challenge for the title.
