Introducing LuluNikka: A Modern Spirit of Tradition Yacht

LuluNikka, a Ceccarelli 42 yacht, is making waves in the world of bluewater cruising and offshore sailing. This unique vessel, designed by Giovanni Ceccarelli, is a blend of traditional yacht aesthetics and modern technology, appealing to sailors who cherish both nautical heritage and contemporary yachting advancements.

The Ceccarelli 42 showcases timber construction in its interior, harking back to earlier yachting eras while maintaining modern efficiency. LuluNikka, owned by the passionate sailors Roberto and Luisa Lacorte, is expected to be a regular at regattas and rallies on the Mediterranean classic circuit.

With a hull length of 12.86m (42ft 2in) and a beam of 3.16m (10ft 4in), LuluNikka boasts sleek hull lines, a low freeboard, deep bulwarks, and a long aft deck, all reminiscent of classic yacht design. Tiller steering is used on the Ceccarelli 42, which aids in easier solo and short-handed maneuvering. The draught of LuluNikka is 2.78m (9ft 2in), and its displacement is 6,400kg (14,100lb), placing it firmly in the high-performance category.

LuluNikka is a high-performance yacht, equipped with a near plumb bow and stern, a powerful square-top mainsail, a long bowsprit for reaching sails and asymmetric spinnakers, a high-aspect deep draught torpedo bulb keel, and an efficient single rudder. This combination ensures a dynamic sailing experience, making it a perfect fit for the Mediterranean classic circuit.

The spacious cockpit of the Ceccarelli 42 is designed for apres sail socialising, offering a comfortable space for relaxation and enjoyment after a day on the water. Contact details for LuluNikka can be found at ceccarelliyachtdesign.com.
