The fourth season of the critically acclaimed series, The Morning Show, is set to release on Apple TV+. The show, which continues to star Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, promises a fresh and exciting narrative.

In this new season, Alex Levy (Aniston) anchors her own show and is also involved in an untitled capacity in running the network. Meanwhile, her character helps a young Iranian fencer and her father defect, adding a touch of real-world drama to the show.

Karen Pittman's Mia, the only person at UBN who seems to have her head on straight, is determined to produce a legitimate news show. Her efforts are contrasted with the supposedly new paradigm at the network, where old characters are in new jobs and new characters are in unclear roles.

Cory Ellison (Billy Crudup) is seen trying to salvage a film that just lost its star, while Chip Black (Mark Duplass) now produces documentaries. Bradley Jackson (Witherspoon) has been out of the business since turning herself and her brother into the FBI in 2022, but is being asked to return to The Morning Show to fill in for Christina Hunter on the anchor desk.

The fourth season of The Morning Show will also feature coverage of the Paris Olympic Games, with the 2024 storylines seeming to be geared towards the Olympics, not the election. However, the show's avoidance of the election is a head-scratcher given the January 6 attack on the Capital was a big part of Season 3.

The first episode of Season 4 felt endless due to the myriad of stories, none of which seem to be grounded in the real media world right now. Despite this, the show maintains its engaging and dramatic style, keeping viewers hooked.

The third season of The Morning Show is currently available on Apple TV+, and the show has already been renewed for a fifth season. So, get ready to tune in for more drama, intrigue, and Olympic coverage in the upcoming fourth season of The Morning Show.

On a side note, Stella is having sex with someone on the DL, and the reason is revealed later in the episode. But, that's a story for another day.
