Nearby infrastructure improvements, such as the addition of E.ON-operated fast charging stations at the Wolfsgrund-West rest area, are ongoing to support traffic during the construction period. The budget for these critical bridge and road renovations, including this project and others, was increased by 1.1 billion euros in 2025 to accelerate necessary work on the Autobahn system.
