Construction Project: Bay Bridge (2025)
On a sunny July 13, 2025, the Dolphin Swimming & Boating Club organised the annual Bay Bridge Swim, attracting over 70 participants. The event was a resounding success, with swimmers finishing the swim in record time.
Lindsay Stripling served as the lead Swim Commissioner, overseeing the smooth running of the event. The lead pilots, Ramsey Williams and Nathaniel Berger, navigated the traffic safely, ensuring the swimmers' safety throughout the swim.
The Bay Bridge swim took place amidst pleasant conditions, with traffic around Creakers posing no significant challenge. The volunteers, including Andy Stone, Kristoffer Milonas, Kalani Leifer, Miranda Rouse, and many others, all performed admirably, contributing to the overall success of the event.
The swimmers, pilots, and volunteers all agreed that it was a good swim overall. The Bay Bridge swim of 2025 will undoubtedly go down in history as a memorable and successful event.
