Construction of the St. Ingbert-West to Rohrbach road is set to commence this weekend
The West branch of the Autobahn GmbH has announced a planned construction project on the A6 motorway between St. Ingbert-West and Rohrbach, set to commence on August 1, 2025, and last approximately until the end of November 2025.
Traffic Restrictions

Signposted detours will be established for through traffic, particularly for trucks and heavy vehicles, to avoid congestion within towns.
On-Ramp Closures
The Rohrbach on-ramp in the direction of Mannheim will be fully closed from August 1, 2025, at around 6 p.m. until August 4, 2025, at 6 a.m. Additionally, the St. Ingbert-Mitte on-ramp in the same direction will be closed from August 8, 2025, at around 6 p.m. until August 11, 2025, at 6 a.m. During the closure of the St. Ingbert-Mitte on-ramp, traffic on the A6 will be routed single-lane past the construction site.
