Construction of mega-structures provoking calamities and catastrophes
The Jordan Bathing Park, a beloved local destination, is currently facing multiple challenges as its national project management encounters construction issues and delays.
The demolition process at the park has been completed, but the delays in the national project are primarily due to the issues with the tiling and screeding work. Legal disputes related to this work are ongoing, complicating the progress of the project.
Initially, certain companies were contracted for the tiling and screeding work. However, these companies were subsequently cancelled, leading to the need for demolition. After the cancellation, new tenders for the tiling and screeding work have been issued.
Unfortunately, the company currently contracted for this work, Fliesenleger Müller GmbH, is currently excluded due to failure to meet the required safety standards. As a result, new companies have been selected to complete the tiling and screeding work.
These legal disputes and construction issues have caused significant delays in the national project. The reopening of the Jordan Bathing Park is now expected to be pushed back until the start of the indoor pool season in 2026, autumn of next year.
The Jordan Bathing Park national project continues to encounter multiple challenges, and it remains uncertain when the park will reopen for the public. However, efforts are being made to resolve the issues and complete the national project as soon as possible.
